Overnight at hotel. Day 2 : Mumbai After breakfast, visit the beaches here in Mumbai. Famous beaches are Marine Drive also called the Queen's Necklace because of its appearance after dark, Juhu Beach, Chowpatty Beach famous for food stalls and hustle and bustle. Other tourist attractions are The Gateway of India, Elephanta Island where you can enjoy a short ferry ride, Prince of Wales Museum, Chattrapati Shivaji Terminus, Flora Fountain, Hanging Gardens, Kamla Nehru Park. Overnight at hotel. Day 3 : Mumbai - Bhuj As your schedule, catch the flight to Bhuj- Known as the gateway to the Kutch, Bhuj is an old walled city with maze like streets and crenellated gateways. Afternoon, city tour of Bhuj. visiting the Museum, known as Fergusson Museum this museum is one of the best museums in India; Rao Pragmalji's Palace, constructed in the later part of 19th century of marble and sandstone is imposing and ornate. Overnight at hotel. Day 4 : Bhuj Full day visit to the villages of Kutch region. Each of these villages specialize in different forms of handicraft. Some of the crafts that they specialize in include wool and cotton weaving, Ahir embroidery, block printing & tie-dying. Overnight at hotel. Day 5 : Bhuj Day return excursion to the Little Rann of Kutch which is home to the last remaining population of Khur (Asiatic Wild Ass) in India. Return to Bhuj. Overnight at hotel. Day 6 : Bhuj-Wankaner After breakfast, leave for Wankaner. Rest of the day free to explore the area in and around the palace. Overnight at hotel. Day 7 : Wankaner - Sasangir After breakfast, leave for Sasangir - the home of the Asiatic Lion. The sanctuary covers 1400 sq km and apart from lions, there are over 30 species of other mammals, including bears, hynas, foxes and a number of species of deer and antelope. Overnight at hotel. Day 8 : Sasangir Morning & afternoon, game viewing in the Sasangir National Park. Day 9 : Sasangir After breakfast, day return excursion to Junagadh - a town situated right at the base of the temple studded Girnar Hill. It is a 600m climb up 10,000 stone steps to reach the summit of the Girnar Hill. In the evening return back to Sasangir. Overnight at hotel. Day 10 : Sasangir - DiuAfter breakfast, leave for Diu - a Portuguese Colony until 1961. Diu's crowning glory is the massive fort which was completed in 1541 by the Portugese. Overnight at hotel. Day 11 : Diu Day free to relax on the beach. Day 12 : Diu Day free to relax on the beach. Day 13 : Diu - Bhavnagar After breakfast leave for Bhavnagar. enroute visiting Lothal - a city which stood 4500 years ago was related to the Indus Valley cities of Mohenjodaro and Harappa. Visit the archeological museum at this site. Continue drive to Bhavnagar. Overnight at hotel. Day 14 : Bhavnagar After breakfast, day return excursion to Palitana. Visit the temples atop a hill. The 600m ascent from the base of the hill is more than 3000 steps. Over a period of 900 years, 863 temples have been built here. The hilltop is dedicated entirely to gods; at dusk, even the priests depart from the temples. Almost all temples are Jain and this hill is one of Jainism's holiest pilgrimage places. Return to Bhavnagar. Overnight at hotel. Day 15 : Bhavnagar - Ahmedabad After breakfast, leave for Ahmedabad. enroute visit the Sun temple at Modhera. Built in 1026-27 AD and bears some resemblance to the Sun temple at Konark which it predates by some 200 years. Later drive further to Ahmedabad. Overnight at hotel. Day 16 : AhmedabadAfter breakfast, city tour of Ahmedabad. The city was founded in 1411 by Ahmed Shah from whom the city takes its name. Start with the Heritage Walk Visit and then proceed to Siddhi Sayad Masjid and Swaminarayan Temple. In the afternoon, visit Gandhinagar – Akshardam Temples. On the way back to the hotel, halt at Adalaj Stepwell. Overnight at hotel. Day 17 : Ahmedabad - Mount Abu Today drive to Mount Abu. Day for rest. Overnight at the hotel. Day 18 : Mount Abu After breakfast, tour to Jain Temple, Nakhi Lake and Sunset Point. Overnight at hotel. Day 19 : Mount Abu - Ambaji - Mount Abu Full day tour to Ambaji Temple Complex. Overnight at hotel. Day 20 : Mount Abu - Udaipur Today drive to Udaipur. Day free for leisure. Overnight at hotel. Day 21 : Udaipur Full day sight seeing of The City of Lakes-Udaipur visiting City Palace, Lake Palace, Saheliyon ki Bari and many more. Overnight in hotel. Day 22 : Udaipur - JodhpurNext morning drive to the Blue City of Rajasthan- Jodhpur. Afternoon visit the imposing Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada. Overnight at the hotel. Day 23 : Jodhpur - Jaipur Early morning drive to the Pink city-Jaipur viewing the City Palace and the Palace Museum. Walk to the adjacent Jantar Mantar built in the 17th century and drive past the Hawa Mahal. Overnight at hotel. Day 24 : Jaipur - Agra Today drive to Agra enroute visiting Fathepur Sikri. Overnight at hotel. Day 25 : Agra - Delhi Visit the beautiful city of Agra admiring the Taj Mahal, Sikandra Fort, and Agra Fort. Afternoon drive to Delhi. Day 26 : Delhi Today proceed for the tour of witnessing the grandeur of Old Delhi and New Delhi Red Fort- Magnificent fort with beautiful artwork of red sandstone on the banks of river Yamuna. It is a huge complex of gardens and pavilions and marble palaces. Jama Masjid- A magnificent historical creation by Shah Jahan. Composed of marble and sandstone it is one of the largest mosques in India. It also contains a few relics of Prophet Muhammad. Raj Ghat- A simple open platform inscribed with the Mahatma's last words, 'Hey Ram' (Oh God) is set in a garden with fountains and a variety of exotic trees. Akshardham Mandir- one of the most recently built temples in Delhi. It is built in an architectural style similar to that of the Akshardham temple of Gandhinagar in Gujarat, India. Its construction is based on the ancient Sthaapatya shastras of India and it is built without steel, entirely out of sandstone and marble. India Gate- Built as a memorial to commemorate the 70,000 India soldiers killed in World War I, India Gate was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and completed in 1931.President’s House- Formerly the Viceregal Lodge, the building is the highlight of Lutyen's New Delhi and was completed in 1929 at a cost of 12,53,000 pound sterling. Located in an area of 130 hectares, the palace has 340 rooms. Humayun’s Tomb- The Mughal brought with them a love for gardens, fountains and water. The emperor’s grieving widow, Haji Begum, built Humayun’s Tomb the first mature example of Mughal architecture in India, in 1565 AD. Laxmi Narayan Mandir- Built in 1938; the temple is an ideal introduction to some of the gods of the India pantheon. The temple contains a large number of idols and visitors can watch priests performing ritualistic prayers. Lotus temple- Created for the followers of Bahai faith people visit it from all religions, all cultures and every country. Qutab Minar- Soaring tower of victory built after the defeat of the last Hindu kingdom in Delhi. Overnight at hotel. Move towards onward destination.
